Investigation of Social Identity Issues of Females in Football is a bachelor dissertation, submitted for BA (Hons) Sport and Leisure Management (International) at Hull University Business School, Scarborough Management Centre.
The study employs Social Identity Theory and aims to explore how women construct their social identities through participation in football and what effects does belonging to football groups has on women. Partial findings of the study were presented at the 7th ENYSSP Workshop in Jyväskylä, Finland (October 2011).
